ORGANIZATION





Mission of Indigenous Students' Resource Center:

  1. Forming a formal organization to handle on-campus indigenous peoples-related policies.
  2. A single window to integrate on-campus resources and serve the indigenous faculty and students, and providing assistance for indigenous students’ life and learning.
  3. Assist in community management for indigenous faculty and students and enrich the multicultural aspect on campus.
  4. Contact with on- or off-campus units on behalf of the university.
  5. Offer resources for indigenous students’ community development and learning by attaining off-campus assistance and projects.
  6. Indigenous peoples-related research, courses and activities.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Oversee the integrated planning and development of all Center affairs.
  • Compile, analyze, and report statistical data regarding Indigenous students.
  • Apply for and implement various on-campus and off-campus Indigenous student projects.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Provide academic guidance, life counseling, and mentorship for Indigenous students..
  • Organize and execute Indigenous culture-related events, lectures, and activities.
  • Process applications for various Indigenous scholarships and financial aid.
  • Manage the reimbursement and verification of funds for Appendix 2 of the Higher Education Sprout Project.
  • Submit and report internal university performance indicators and project outcomes.
  • Manage service hours for Indigenous student workers and financial aid recipients.
  • Advise the Indigenous Student Association (Taipei Campus).
  • Organize and convene meetings of the Advisory Committee.
  • Implement professional development workshops for teachers on Indigenous Education for All, and coordinate the Dual Teacher Program.
  • Plan and execute cultural activities and events..
  • Plan and execute career development courses and workshops.
  • Manage internal control, internal audit, and information security (cybersecurity) protocols.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

    • Assist in organizing and executing Indigenous culture-related events and lectures.
